All that jazz
In honor of one of America's classic musical genres,
 Greg Abate performs with his quintet Saturday as part of Jazz Week at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod in South Yarmouth.

several musicians and visual artists contribute their talents to Jazz Week Friday through April 29 at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod, 307 Old Main St., South Yarmouth.
The Rod McCaulley Group gets the celebration off on the right note with a concert from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Admission: $15, $10 members.
On Saturday, the MIT Festival Jazz Ensemble takes the stage at 2 p.m., with admission set at $10, $5 members. The Greg Abate Quintet follows the same evening at 7:30. Admission: $15, $10 members.
The New England Jazz Alliance Traveling Hall of Fame finds a home at the center Wednesday through April 29, with free admission in between concerts.
Admission is also free to see the Cape Cod Jazz Society Youth Ensemble at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Those hungry for more than just music will enjoy a jazz brunch with Paul Nossiter's Gentle Jazz from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 29. Admission: $25.
And finally, ''Great Jazz Art and Memorabilia” will be on display daily, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free in between concerts.
